Playing in a band is truly a "team sport". I approach drumming from a groove and foundation perspective. Solid tempo, not over-playing and locking up with the bass player are what define my technique. When these things are happening, then everything else and the rest of the band is that much better. My biggest influences are Peter Criss, Nigel Olsson, Steve Smith, Chris Layton and Dean Castronovo.
I currently play Pearl Masters Custom drums, Sabian cymbals and Vater sticks, exclusively.
